Sometimes, one person sees hope where others only see hardship.

In 2016, Mario Lewis saw his community that needed more than words — it needed someone willing to care, to believe, and to take the first step.

With faith in his heart and a vision for a better future, he began a journey that would become 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚.

What started with a simple desire to make a difference has grown into 10 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙.

One heart. One vision. One community. Ten years of hope.

Helenvale Centre of Hope was established in 2016 with a simple but powerful belief: every child and young person deserves an opportunity to learn, grow and build a better future.

The journey began on 22 August 2016, when a group of passionate community members came together with a vision to make a difference in the lives of children and youth in Helenvale. What started as a shared dream soon became a practical commitment to the community.
