His presentation reflects the Faculty's commitment to sharing research that contributes to advancing teaching and learning across higher education.

Prof Darelle van Greunen from the Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Technology (EBET) delivered a breakout session titled "Humanising Teaching in the Age of AI: Reclaiming Assessment as Evidence of Graduate Capability."

The presentation formed part of the University's ongoing commitment to advancing innovative teaching practices, academic excellence and meaningful dialogue around the future of higher education.

The conversations continue as the Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Technology (EBET) contributes to shaping the future of higher education through innovative teaching and learning practices.

Today, Dr Jean-Pierre Basson presented a breakout session titled "The Feedback Compass: Humanising Feedback Through a Dialogic Digital Companion for Higher Education."

South Africa continues to face a significant skills mismatch, with graduates seeking employment while businesses struggle to find people with the specialised skills they need.

In partnership with the International Labour Organization, the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber is proud to launch the Just Skills Transition Programme, designed to equip qualifying youth for a Just Transition through upskilling, reskilling, and placement with Chamber member companies as interns for experiential learning.
