June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month.
Too many men are carrying things they were never taught to put down. Stress. Grief. Anxiety. The pressure to just push through.
But strength isn't silence. Strength is knowing when to reach out.
This month, check in on the men in your life — your brother, your colleague, your friend. Sometimes "how are you, really?" is all it takes to open a door.
💙 You don't have to be okay all the time. And you don't have to go through it alone.

The Department of Nursing Science recently had the pleasure of hosting guests from Oldenburg University, who joined our staff on visits to various hospitals and clinics across Gqeberha.
The visits gave our international guests a firsthand look at the clinical environments where our students develop their practical nursing skills — from hands-on patient care to real-world healthcare settings that bring their academic training to life.
It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the strong partnerships we have built with healthcare facilities in our region, while also fostering meaningful dialogue with our colleagues from Oldenburg. 🤝
To our Practice partners — Thank you, you represented the department beautifully. Well done! 💙
