Congratulations to all our Grey boys and staff who were capped at the Eastern Province High Schools Association Rugby Capping Ceremony held at Bergsig Special School on Tuesday evening.

It was a proud occasion, made even more special with the announcement that Joandre van Jaarsveld and Carl Killian have been included in the EP Craven Week U18 and Grant Khomo U16 teams respectively, as injury replacements.

To every player and coach selected to represent Eastern Province, we are incredibly proud of your achievement and wish you every success as you wear the EP jersey with pride.

On Friday evening, Mr van Niekerk took his Grade 11 English class (top set), and three additional learners who filled in for those who could not attend, to the cinema for a special outing to watch "Masters of the Universe".

The evening offered more than just an exciting adventure - it gave the boys an opportunity to bond as a class outside their usual setting, while also engaging with the film studies component of the English curriculum. As part of their learning, the boys are reflecting on and analysing the film for homework.

A fantastic time was had by all, and it is a memory that will unlikely be forgotten anytime soon. A sincere thank you to Mr Dolley for joining, and to Habana, Karishney and everyone at Ster-Kinekor Theatres Baywest for their generosity in offering us an incredibly discounted rate.

Our Grey High Golf Tour 2026 officially got underway as 13 Grey golfers departed for an unforgettable international experience in the United Kingdom.

From 21 June to 5 July, the boys will travel through Scotland, Liverpool and London, competing on renowned courses, building lifelong memories, and proudly representing The Grey alongside Golf MIC Mr Gerhard Hills and Mr Garron Everts.

Adding to the excitement of their departure was a special airport send-off, where the boys had the opportunity to meet members of the Springbok squad, including Old Grey and Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. A moment they are sure to remember for years to come.

We wish our touring squad safe travels, great golf, and an incredible journey as they carry the proud legacy of Grey Golf abroad.
