Our chem kids put foam to the test! 🫧🥛
What happened when we changed the properties of the water and introduced a whole lot of bubbles? 👀

A fun little experiment exploring foam, bubbles, balance and the properties of materials! 👩🏻‍🔬🧑🏼‍🔬

🖤 Standing Together Against Violence Against Women 💜

Today, our Chem Kids and staff dressed in all black to stand in solidarity with the women of South Africa and to take a stand against violence against women.

At Chem Kids Carbon, we believe in raising kids in an environment built on kindness, respect, compassion and safety. Together, we can help create a future where every woman and girl feels safe, valued and protected.

🖤 Our voices matter. Our actions matter. Together, we stand. 💜

🌸 Spring Hat Day 🌸

Spring is nature’s reminder that growth is a process — influenced by light, warmth, water and time. 🌱

At Chem Kids Carbon, we believe the same is true for our chem kids. With the right environment, care and opportunities to learn, our children continue to grow, develop and flourish in their own unique ways. 👩🏻‍🔬🧑🏼‍🔬

Our Spring Hat Day was a beautiful celebration of new beginnings, creativity and the season ahead. 🌷👒

Gasps. 🔥 Wide eyes. 🤯 Endless excitement. 🤩

This is why we LOVE Science Week! 🧪

Moments like this remind us that learning is so much more than sitting at a desk. It's about asking questions, making predictions, and having a whole lot of fun. 👩🏻‍🔬🧑🏼‍🔬

⚠️ Safety First: This experiment was performed by a trained adult in a controlled environment using the correct safety precautions. Before the demonstration, we explained to all of our learners that this is not an experiment to try at home. It involves an open flame and flammable materials and should only ever be carried out by a knowledgeable adult in a safe, supervised setting.
