70 YEARS OF ALGOA FLYING CLUB!

And we’re not stopping there — another aircraft is currently in for an engine overhaul, getting ready to join the fleet.

Today is a very special day as we celebrate Amber Williams achieving her Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)! 🏆✈️

Amber, this journey has not been an easy one. There have been difficult days, challenges, setbacks, moments of doubt and obstacles that could have made you question whether you would ever reach this moment.
But you kept going.

You pushed through the difficult days, picked yourself up when things didn't go according to plan, and continued to work towards the dream you believed in.

And today, you can finally say: I did it. ✈️

We have watched your journey, your determination and your growth, and we could not be more proud of you. This licence represents so much more than passing an exam or completing a flight — it represents your perseverance, courage, commitment and belief in yourself.

SACAA FEES - OCT 2026: Kindly note that on 12 August 2026, the Minister of Transport approved and signed the Thirty-Fifth Amendment of the Regulations concerning the increases in User Fees and Passenger Safety Charges. The South African Civil Aviation Authority published these regulations for promulgation in the Government Gazette. The Amendment will take effect from 1 October 2026.
