Cornerstone Play and Learn Centre

Cornerstone Play and Learn Centre Day care facility for children who are between 12 months and 5 years old. We are based in Lorraine, Port Elizabeth.

We are dedicated to providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that allows children to develop at their own pace. We do not believe in pushing any child to learn at an accelerated rate, and will not make a child feel pressured to achieve any developmental milestones. By providing the right kind of fun, safe environment, we believe that children will learn at their own pace. We believe that children need to have a positive self-image. We foster that image, along with their developmental growth in areas of intellectual, social, physical and emotional skills, through a variety of group activities, individual play and quiet times. Our program makes use of many play and learning materials that help the children gain confidence in their abilities to do and make things.

Happy Teacher’s Day to our wonderful teachers!
Today, on Teacher’s Day, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of our incredible teachers for the love, dedication and commitment you pour into our children every single day.
Teaching little ones is so much more than a job. It takes patience, kindness, creativity, energy and a whole lot of heart. Every day you give of yourselves — often going above and beyond — to make sure our children feel loved, cared for, encouraged and supported.
You celebrate their little victories, comfort them when they are sad, guide them when they struggle, encourage them to try again and help them discover just how much they are capable of.
Thank you for the countless hours, the planning, the cleaning, the caring, the laughter, the cuddles, the patience and all the little things you do that may sometimes go unnoticed, but make such a BIG difference.
I am incredibly grateful for the team of ladies we have at Cornerstone Play and Learn Centre. Each of you brings something special to our school, and together you create a place where our children can learn, grow and flourish.
Thank you for giving your all, each and every day. Thank you for loving our children as you do. And thank you for being the amazing teachers that you are.
You are appreciated more than you know!
Happy Teacher’s Day!
