What a heartwarming journey has unfolded right here at the Skål International World Congress 2026 in Nelson Mandela Bay!
Meet Sonwabiso (22) and Siyanda (23), two resilient, previously unemployed youths from Walmer Township. When they were recruited to join the event's corporate branding setup team, they welcomed the chance with open arms. For both of them, it was a long-awaited lifeline that allowed them to finally bring an income home and provide for their families.

Sonwabiso and Siyanda didn't just work behind the scenes; they had a front-row seat to global unity. They witnessed tourism leaders and members from over 70 countries gather together under one roof.
Skills Built for a Lifetime.
Moving across various event locations, they mastered the high-stakes world of event infrastructure and branding. From precision layouts to rapid turnarounds, they learned invaluable trade secrets, delivering great service on time, every single time! They have proven that with the right opportunity, our youth can meet global standards.
