Simple actions can save lives:
🌊 Never leave children unattended near water.
🛟 Swim in areas supervised by qualified lifeguards whenever possible.

With heavy rain and severe weather approaching, the risk of flooding is high.

Fast-moving water can be far more dangerous than it looks — don’t take the chance.

Never attempt to walk or drive through flooded roads or rivers. Just a small amount of water can sweep you away or stall your vehicle.

Stay safe with these tips:
• Turn around, don’t drown – find an alternative route if a road is flooded.
• Avoid low-lying areas and riverbanks during heavy rain.
• Stay informed – monitor weather updates and follow official warnings.

Did you know? The ocean produces over HALF of the oxygen we breathe,
And those slow-moving turtles you love 🐢 ?

They help keep seagrass beds healthy, which are basically underwater nurseries for marine life 🌱🐠!

But here’s the not-so-fun fact:

Millions of tons of plastic enter our oceans every year… and sea turtles often mistake it for food.
