Local school gets R14 million donation for new music centre Greenwood Primary School partners with Alexander Valentin to build a top-tier music centre, elevating local music education.

💯 Our Grade 1 learners recently celebrated an exciting milestone – 100 days in Grade 1 and 100 days smarter!

To mark the occasion, they enjoyed a fun-filled day at St George's Park with their parents and teachers. From running and playing to sharing laughs and making special memories, it was a wonderful way to celebrate how far they have come in their Grade 1 journey.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents, staff, and learners who made the day so enjoyable. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Atlas Security and the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Police for their support and assistance in helping make the event safe and successful.

Here's to 100 days of learning, growing and achieving – and many more to come! 🌟

📢 REMINDER: A FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION | 19 JUNE 2026

As fathers and father figures, we have a unique opportunity to shape lives, build confidence and create lasting memories. Whether you are a father, grandfather, stepfather, uncle, mentor, older brother, or simply a positive male role model, your presence, guidance and example can make all the difference in a child's journey.

In celebration of the upcoming Father's Day, we invite the men of our school community to come together for an afternoon of connection, fellowship, inspiration and quality time with our children. Together, we can strengthen the bonds that help our children feel safe, valued and supported.

Join us on *19 June 2026* as we celebrate the important role that fathers and father figures play in building strong families, a caring community and a brighter future for our children.

We are privileged to welcome *Ayanda Zaca*, award-winning TV and radio presenter, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, author and philanthropist, who will share an inspiring message before we enjoy a braai together.

Because raising great children is not a journey we take alone—it takes a community of men willing to lead by example, stand together and invest in the next generation.

*Tickets are R70 per father and child, and R35 per additional child. Each ticket includes a complimentary boerewors roll for every attendee.*

As we approach the end of our controlled tests session, we would like to commend all our learners for their hard work, dedication and perseverance.
