It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague, educator, and mother to many, Thuleka Pikinini.

The St James RC Secondary School family mourns the loss of a remarkable woman whose kindness, dedication, patience, and love touched the lives of many learners, colleagues, and community members. Her presence brought warmth, encouragement, and compassion to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we come to terms with this great loss, we remember her not only as an educator, but as a beautiful soul who gave so much of herself to others. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she influenced.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, learners, and all those who loved her. May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.

Please be informed that there will be no school tomorrow (04/06/2026) due to the weather conditions.

We are currently in the process of rescheduling the examinations that were scheduled to be written today and tomorrow. Please note that Friday’s examinations will proceed according to the existing timetable. The remainder of the examination timetable will be adjusted to accommodate the missed examinations.

School dress / Grey pants + white T-shirt
Grey socks OR white socks
Thick stockings (Amagusha) — no thin ones
