Quest School for Learners with Autism

Teacher Rosheen’s class had a fun and creative week! 🎨✨ The learners enjoyed making colourful faces using ice cream sticks and glitter, as well as tearing and pasting paper to create fun patterns and numbers. 🌈🖍️ Learning through creativity and play! 💛

A huge thank you to Westview High School and Moorland Seedlings for the very generous donation of seedlings for our school garden. 🌱💚

Our learners have already been hard at work preparing the garden beds and getting everything ready for planting, and it has been wonderful to see them getting involved and working together.

Our school garden offers our learners so much more than just the opportunity to grow vegetables. It gives them valuable hands-on learning experiences, teaches responsibility and teamwork, develops practical skills, and allows them to experience the joy of nurturing something and watching it grow. 🌿

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and for donations such as these that create meaningful learning opportunities for our children.

Siphokazi was one of our dear class assistants and will be deeply missed by our school community. We will miss her vibrant personality and the joy she brought to our school. Rest in peace, Siphokazi. Forever in our hearts. 🕊️🤍

On the Hospitality Menu @ Quest this month, our themes included some soups, curried eggs and delicious All-Bran muffins to help keep out the winter cold! 🥣🥯🍳

🌊☀️ **A Day Out for Our Hostel Learners!** 🎮🍦

Today our hostel learners enjoyed a wonderful outing! 💙 They started with a lovely walk through Happy Valley, followed by a relaxing stroll along the beach. 🌴🌊

Then it was off to the Boardwalk’s Magic Company Game Centre for some fun and games! 🎮😄 After all that excitement, they enjoyed a delicious meal at McDonald’s 🍔🍟 and ended the day on a sweet note with a KFC ice cream! 🍦❤️

What a fun-filled day of smiles, laughter and special memories! 🥰✨

On Tuesday, our netball girls and junior and senior soccer boys enjoyed a wonderful day of sport against Protea School. 🏐⚽

We are so proud of every learner who participated and gave their best. A big thank you to our parents and families who came to support and encourage our learners throughout the day.💙
