ARTS FESTIVAL 2026 PRESTIGE CONCERT

A heartfelt thank you to all the participants who delivered remarkable performances at the Prestige Concert. All the participants received a Diploma (90%). Your dedication, passion, and hard work truly shone through and made the event an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.

Andrew Lloyd-Webber Tribute:
Summerwood Musical Theatre, in conjunction with special guest artists, hosted a wonderful evening of the most enjoyable songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Our learners had the opportunity to perform on stage and to enthral the audience through their singing, acting and dancing.

The Summerwood Primary School Wind Band had the opportunity to take part in Herbet Hurd's Band Evening on Thursday, 13 August. It was a wonderful experience for our learners to play alongside Herbert Hurd, Grey Junior School, Greenwood Primary School and Sunridge Primary School in three mass items at the end of the concert.

Our Senior Choir had the privilege of performing at the Herbert Hurd Primary School Choir Festival. The concert ended with a mass item entitled, "Why we sing!" The following lyrics from the item are a great reminder of the importance of choir.

The Summerwood Primary School Jazz Band had the fantastic experience of performing alongside the Victoria Park High School Jazz Band on Friday, 7 August at Something Good. It was a wonderful evening filled with great music and a fantastic opportunity for our young musicians to perform!
