We would like to congratulate the Summerwood students and teachers who participated in the Eastern Cape Junior Youth Orchestra program at the end of March.

The participation of our music students and teachers is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and love for the art of music and collaborative performance.

Well done to the musicians involved. We are very proud to have them representing our school amongst the talented participants from across the province.

Feather Market Organ Society OPEN DAY.

Our Gr 2 and 3 Junior choir learners had the wonderful opportunity to attend and perform at the Open Day for Schools hosted by the Feather Market Organ Society. The children listened and learned more about various instruments, especially the wonderful organ, designed by Prof Albert Troskie, which is the biggest pipe organ in South Africa. The children thoroughly enjoyed the concert!
