Equipping children and young people with life skills, emotional intelligence, self-protection, leadership and support. THE TRAINING
• We train prevention workers who go into schools and into the community to teach resilience combined with self-defence techniques.
• Training is free to the unemployed
• The training in public schools is free of charge
• Each pair of two prevention workers is able to teach a group of up to 50 or more people how to self-protect within 2-4 hours

What a beautiful and memorable day as we celebrated the graduation of our Social Employment Fund (SEF) participants.
This round was one of the most challenging seasons our organisation has experienced. We navigated transition, strategic changes, new management, stronger organisational structures, and improved HR processes. Change is never easy, and not everyone adapts in the same way. Yet, through every challenge, we remained committed to our purpose and continued moving forward with resilience, unity, and hope.
Today, we celebrate each participant who completed this journey. Congratulations! Although your time in the SEF programme has come to an end, your journey is only just beginning. Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and willingness to serve your communities. Your contribution has made a meaningful difference, and we are proud of all that you have achieved.
A heartfelt thank you to The Learning Trust, the Social Employment Fund (SEF), and the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) for believing in the power of community and investing in people. These opportunities are about so much more than providing a stipend. They create pathways for growth, build confidence, develop skills, and empower people to discover their purpose while making a lasting impact in their communities. Thank you for your partnership and for helping to build stronger, more resilient communities.
As one chapter closes, another continues. While we say goodbye to our SEF participants, the work of I Protect Me (IPM) does not end here. We remain committed to empowering children, youth, families, and communities through prevention, education, leadership development, and community support. Our mission continues, and we look forward to creating even more opportunities to serve, uplift, and bring hope where it is needed most.
To our graduates, remember that you will always be part of the IPM family. Keep serving with passion, lead with integrity, and continue making a positive difference wherever life takes you.
Congratulations once again to every graduate. Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning.
