18/09/2026
Today, 18 September 2026, our staff stood together in black, a powerful visual symbol of mourning, solidarity, and unwavering resolve. We wore black to honour the women whose lives were stolen by gender‑based violence and femicide. Their names, their stories, and their futures deserved so much more.
Today we stand united.
We stand for justice.
We stand for change.
We stand because silence is no longer an option.
Gender‑based violence must end. Femicide must end.
Not tomorrow. Not someday. Now.
Together, we raise our voices. Together, we refuse to look away. Together, we commit to educating our future generations to building a safer, kinder, more accountable South Africa for every woman and girl.
It’s time to stop GBV and femicide permanently.
