STUDY ABROAD
Would you like to study abroad for five to six months and still obtain NMMU credits?

The Office for International Education offers registered South African students a unique opportunity to enrol for one semester at one of the NMMU partner universities.

Places are also available for 3 - 4 week Short Programmes.

Studying abroad gives one the opportunity not only to experience life in another country, but also to experience another culture as well.

WHAT IS ON OFFER?

University contribution:
- Money towards your plane ticket
- Assistance in applying for your visa
- Free tuition at our partner universities and different levels of support for accommodation.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

- A solid academic record.
- At least six months remaining at the NMMU as a student on your return.
- A valid passport.
- Sufficient funding available in order to sustain yourself while living abroad and in order to pay the balance of your air ticket.

HOW DO I APPLY?

Complete the application form available at the Study Abroad Office, Office for International Education and submit it the following to the office situated on South Campus:
- completed application form
- 2 Passport size picture
- Comprehensive CV
- Letter of motivation
- FULL academic record
- Copy of your ID & Passport
