“How does it work?” can be the start of a wonderful learning journey.

In Montessori primary education, children explore ideas through hands-on materials, investigation and discussion. Concrete experiences help them make sense of more abstract concepts as their understanding develops.

Learners are encouraged to think for themselves, persevere and take increasing responsibility for their work. Learning alongside others also creates opportunities to share ideas, offer help and practise respect.

At PE Montessori, we see education as preparation for life as well as academic progress.

Let’s talk about a primary school journey that supports your child’s growing confidence and independence.

What happens when a child can touch, explore and try for themselves?
Learning becomes a discovery.

Montessori materials invite children to notice differences, make connections and practise skills through purposeful activity. Working with their hands helps give meaning to early ideas in language and maths.

Choice comes with clear boundaries, including caring for materials and respecting others. Children have opportunities to repeat an activity, concentrate and experience the satisfaction of progress, with a teacher guiding their next steps.

Explore Pre-School and Grade R at PE Montessori, where your child’s curiosity has room to grow.

A little hand pours. A small spill happens. Your child tries again.

In Montessori education, everyday moments like these are opportunities to learn. Practical activities help toddlers practise coordination, build concentration and discover the satisfaction of doing something for themselves.

The adult’s role is to guide with patience, allowing little ones to participate rather than doing everything for them. A carefully arranged space makes exploration and growing independence possible.

At PE Montessori, we value these small beginnings and the individual child behind every milestone.

Today, we celebrated our AS Level students at their valedictory ceremony – a special occasion filled with pride, reflection and warm wishes as they prepare for their final examinations. 🎓

Our Head of School shared a simple but powerful message:

“What you put in is what you get out.”

May each student approach the weeks ahead with focus, determination and confidence. We are incredibly proud of you and wish you every success in your examinations and the exciting journey ahead. 📚
