Eastcape Training Centre (ETC), a Private FET College, invites companies and organisations to partner with us in hosting funded learners for structured workplace-based experience.
As we approach a significant milestone celebrating 50 years of advancing skills development in August 2026, we continue to build strong industry partnerships that develop future artisans and skilled professionals. As part of the QCTO framework, learners are required to complete structured Work Experience Modules (WM’s) within approved workplace environments. We are currently seeking companies able to provide practical exposure aligned to QCTO, and relevant SETA workplace requirements.

Mechanical Engineering & Manufacturing - Mechanical Trades:
- OC: Boilermaker
- OC: Welder
- OC: Fitter & Turner
- OC: Metal Machinist
- OC: Mechanical Fitter
- OC: Millwright
- OC: Motor Mechanical
Building & Construction - Building & Construction Trades:
- OC: Bricklaying
- OC: Carpenter
- OC: Plumber
- OC: Hot Water System Installer (Heat Pump)
- Painter & Decorator
- Plasterer & Tiler
Electrical Engineering - Electrical Trades:
- OC: Electrical
- OC: Millwright
Automotive Motor Mechanical Trade
Driver training (Code B, C1, C, EC)
- Counter-balance lift truck training F1
- Learner licence preparation
- Short skills programmes and customised training
