13 Years of Creating | Day 13

To wrap up this series, we're sharing one of the projects we're especially proud of.

For several years we had the privilege of producing presentation boxes for Tour de France medals. A project that challenged us to deliver exceptional quality, consistency, and attention to detail on an international stage.

While the box itself may look simple, every detail is carefully considered. From material selection and machining to finishing and assembly, countless small refinements go into creating a product that protects and showcases something truly special.

Over the past 13 days we've shared just a small glimpse of the wide variety of projects we've been fortunate enough to create since 2013. Thank you to every client, supplier, supporter, and team member who has been part of the journey.

13 Years of Creating | Day 12
Some projects leave us a little starstruck.

Last year we had the privilege of engraving a bottle of Johnnie Walker Green Label that was gifted by Eben Etzebeth to Willie le Roux in celebration of his 100th Springbok cap. To complete the gift, we also crafted a custom bamboo presentation box.

As passionate South Africans and rugby fans, meeting Eben and being trusted with such a meaningful milestone gift was a moment we'll never forget.

13 Years of Creating | Day 11

This wedding invitation has survived in our samples collection since 2016, and every time we come across it, we're reminded why we loved creating pieces like this...
A calendar marked the special date, the invitation was engraved into the wood, and a hidden drawer revealed a map to the venue. Every detail was designed to make the experience memorable before the wedding day had even arrived. At the time, it felt incredibly innovative. Today, it feels almost nostalgic.

It's funny to think that less than a decade later, most invitations are sent digitally. The world moves fast, but projects like this remind us of the value of something tangible, something you can hold onto long after the event is over.

Some creations are more that products, they become memories.

13 Years of Creating | Day 10

One of the milestones in our journey was expanding from signage and branding into custom-made furniture. It opened the door to a whole new way of creating! Combining functionality, durability, and craftmanship in every piece.

These lounge sets were manufactured for The Willows Holiday Resort & Conference Centre, and they remain some of our favourite furniture projects to date. Built to withstand a coastal environment while still looking inviting and comfortable, they showcase the quality and attention to detail we strive for in every project.

We're proud of the workmanship behind these sets and grateful for the opportunities that have allowed us to grow our skills and services along the way.

13 Years of Creating | Day 9
This floating trophy remains one of our favourite.

For their 2023 trail events, asked us to create an award for the Water Point of the Day. The only instruction was: "Design something special." We took that freedom and ran with it, combining hardwood, layered Acrylic, router cutting, laser cutting, engraving, and full-colour printing, to create a trophy that captures the spirit of the trails 🌄

One of the things we enjoy most is mixing materials and manufacturing methods to create pieces with depth, texture, and character, and this project was a perfect example of that.

Looking back, it's still a design we're incredibly proud of.

Not every project is just a project 💉

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to assist in bringing meaningful ideas to life, including this award-winning hypertension awareness campaign created by for Circular Health, in 2019. The campaign featured an interactive 3D poster using fake blood to reveal a reversible message about hypertension. A project designed to spark awareness around "The Silent Killer", proving that creativity can leave a lasting impact.

13 years later, we're still reminded of why we love what we do: creating work that people remember!

Some projects stand out simply because of their scale.

In 2016 we built this 6 meter long backdrop and a set of giant "I am Pam" letters for a milestone campaign celebrating the Gold Club's 40th anniversary with Pam Golding Properties

Seeing concepts grow from workshop drawings into event-ready installations has been one of the most rewarding parts of our journey over the past 13 years 💛

Not every tree grows leaves 🪾
This 1.8m tall custom wooden display tree was created for as part of a Standard Bank Group activation at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown about 2 years ago.

The tree provided a unique way to display and distribute branded goody bags, while the matching branded cubes stored additional stock throughout the event.
A great example of combining creativity, branding, and functionality into one memorable display.
