Three, two, one… blast off! 🌌🚀

Our Intermediate Phase learners zoomed off to the Nelson Mandela University dome for an out-of-this-world experience! 🤩 Under the giant dome they watched shows all about outer space and kindness, and found out how our planets, stars and universe work. 🪐⭐✨

Big eyes, big questions and even bigger wows! 😍

Who said school has to end when the sun goes down? 😎🌙 Our Goldwater High learners swapped the daytime timetable for a Fun Night School evening, and what a night it was! 🎉

There was history bingo with a twist 🎯📜 typing competitions, consumer studies taste testing of fruit and veg to put freshness and purity to the test 🍎🥦😋, and a marshmallow lesson on PAYE and medical aid, where the class found out just how fair (and unfair!) a salary can feel once the deductions come off. 🍡

💰 Sweet, tasty and smart! 🧠✨

🦁 Day 3 was a full-on wild ride! 🐊 We got up close and personal at Cango Wildlife Ranch, from cheetahs to crocs, then squeezed in some last-minute snacking 🍿🍫 and a bit of well-earned free time to soak it all in. 🌄

Zero dull moments, just good vibes, big cats and even bigger memories. 💛🐆

Freddy the egg had a big, scary drop ahead of him! 😱🥚

Our Grade 8 Natural Science learners put their engineering skills to the test, building safe little landing pods to protect their eggs from a fall through the air. 🚀

Then came the moment of truth… did Freddy survive?! 🍳😂 Cracking science, brilliant teamwork and plenty of gasps! 🔬✨
