Yesterday evening we celebrated the inauguration of the Progress Aero Club π©
Following in the footsteps of the once proud Port Elizabeth Flying Club founded by our CEO, John English, many years ago, the Progress Are Club strives to recognize student achievements, strengthen camaraderie and preserve the heritage and culture of aviation within Progress Flight Academy π©ππ»
The evening was also used to celebrated the Initial Solo Flight of one of our students, Graeme Engelbrecht ππ»π©

Due to the inclement weather recently experienced in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha, some of our ab-initio students got to experience flying out of Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport, giving them some incredible exposure to controlled airspace operations and having to deal with air traffic control and scheduled airline traffic βοΈπ©ππ»
