This serves to remind you of the recovery affected subject exams on the 3rd and 4th of June 2026. A recovery timetable was given to the learners in the previous week stating the new dates for the subjects.
Below, are the subjects to be written on the 15th of June, with the grades.

Today, 20 incredible young voices from Walmer Township begin the journey of a lifetime as the masifunde Youth Choir departs for Germany! ✈️🇿🇦🇩🇪

For many of these talented learners, aged 14–18, this will be their very first flight and their first time leaving South Africa. Over the next two weeks, they will perform in cities across Germany, sharing the rich sounds, stories and spirit of South Africa through music.

From prestigious gala performances to cultural exchanges with German school choirs, this tour is about so much more than singing. It is an opportunity to build friendships, experience new cultures, and proudly represent their school, community and country on an international stage.

We are incredibly proud of every choir member, as well as choir conductor Leseko Mkhwanazi and masifunde Programme Coordinator Siba Sarabi, who will join the tour and also perform as a guest artist during selected concerts.
