LATE POST UPDATE ON THE SCORE: Motherwell High School went down to Cingani High School 7-3 in a Hard fought match. Buhlebethu was MHS t Man of the Match. That places us second in the log standings, first loss in this tournament.
Kubo Boys zeRugby as we play the 3rd Match in a Highly contested tournament. Hopefully our 1st Team boys can keep the winning streak, having beaten Ndyebo High School 34-6 and Soqhayisa Senior Secondary School 14-8 last week.

Motherwell High School proudly secured 3rd place in the 2026 Schools Environmental Competition, held today, 11 August 2026, at the Wesley Methodist Church.

Motherwell High School Celebrates Outstanding Achievement at Tangible Africa Coding Competition
Motherwell High School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our learners, who secured second place at the recent Tangible Africa Coding Competition held in Gqeberha.
The competition brought together learners from various schools to showcase their coding, computational thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Our learners demonstrated exceptional determination, creativity, and resilience throughout the event, earning a well-deserved second-place finish.
This achievement reflects the commitment of our learners, the dedication of our educators, and the school's continued focus on promoting excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. Participation in programmes such as Tangible Africa equips learners with essential 21st-century skills, including logical thinking, collaboration, and innovation, preparing them for the rapidly evolving digital world.

We are immensely proud to announce that Motherwell High School represented by Aqhama Nomabhunga and Joshua Mahe has officially advanced to the Provincial Oral Rounds of the 2026 Moot Court Competition after our learners' essays were successfully selected by the National Adjudication Committee.
This outstanding achievement places our school among the Top 10 schools that will compete at the provincial stage, to be held in Mthatha from 28โ30 August 2026.
This accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, critical thinking, and excellence of our learners, as well as the unwavering commitment of Mr Leanya ( Mentor and Educator) .
