This page is dedicated to the history of Marist Brothers Colleges of the Eastern Cape, both Bird Street and Walmer, Port Elizabeth and includes the College at Uitenhage. None of these schools now exist as such, only in the hearts and memories of the families who's sons were educated in these hallowed Colleges. The Bird Street buildings still exist. The College in Uitenhage burned down and Walmer Park Shopping Centre now stands where St. Patricks College, Walmer was situated. St. Patricks was the last Marist College in the Eastern Cape. With Holy Rosary Convent in the early 1980's it merged with St. Dominic's Priory School. https://www.facebook.com/StDominicsPriorySchool/
