Something really special happened today. 🩵

Some of our Missionvale staff and volunteers were invited to Total Concept Academy at Ray Mhlaba Skills Training Centre, where beauty students had the opportunity to practise their skills by giving our team manicures.

It was a beautiful coming together of skills development - young people building confidence in their chosen field, while those who spend their days serving the Missionvale community got a little time to simply be cared for.

For some, it was their very first manicure. Those little moments of laughter and feeling special meant more than we could have imagined.

We’re so grateful to Total Concept Academy, the students, Ray Mhlaba Skills Training Centre and Lisa Letord for bringing everyone together and making this possible.

And to the students: thank you for putting your skills into practice with such care. We wish you all the best as you continue learning, growing and building your futures. 🩵

[SUNDAY WRAP]

As we look back on the week, one of our favourite moments was welcoming our Peace Boat (NGO) friends back to Missionvale for another day of cultural exchange. 🌍

There is something special about sharing a little of everyday life in Missionvale… through music, food, laughter, stories and traditions, and seeing connections grow between people from different corners of the world.

And what better way to close the week than looking back on a moment that brought people together, and reminded us just how much we can learn from one another 🩵😊🫂
