"LEARNING : THE VISUAL CONNECTION:"
1 in 4 children will have to struggle in school, because of the dangerous assumption some people make that 20/20 eyesight means that the child’s vision is normal.
In our simplistic view of the visual system, we equate sight with vision, whereas sight is being able to see, whilst vision is the understanding of what is seen.
Considering that 80% of all a child learns comes to him via the visual pathways, it stands to reason that if there is any interference in those pathways, children will not develop to their maximum potential.
Join us as we discuss some of the 17 skills required in learning and reading, as well as Clinical Pearls in identifying Dyslexic patterns in children.
