NLS netball team played a friendly match against Erica House today and won 10-2. Well done young ladies. We know you will do well at the Cape Recife High School Derby Day on 21 and 22 August 2026. Learners great effort well done coaches Mrs du Plessis and Mrs Louw.

Gr 7, 8 and 9 Entrepreneur's Day held on Friday, 14 August 2026. Well done to all the learners who took part, and, staff members who supported them. We certainly have a number of potential entrepreneurs.

Once again our Senior Soccer team making us proud. Today, Saturday 15 August 2026 our boys playing in the Gem League, won 3-1 against Erica House and 8 - 1 against Khayalethu. One of our junior players played for the seniors - and excelled. Well done players, coach Mr Boto and team manager, Mr Brower. You make us all proud.

Our Junior soccer team played a friendly match against Cotswold Primary today, on Thursday 13 August 2026. The score was 2 -1 to NLS. We are very proud of our boys (and one girl) . They wore their new soccer kit donated from Sport and Rec. On Sunday, 9 August 2026, during a Women's Day celebration in Despatch, the Honourable EC MEC for Sport and the Honourable Mayor of Gqeberha handed over a netball and soccer kit, with rugby and soccer balls for Northern Lights School learners to our Sports Head, Mr Brower and Mrs Bell, the Principal of NLS. On behalf of the school we would like to thank everyone who so kindly contributed to this donation. Our learners are extremely grateful. We look forward to taking part in a soccer, rugby and netball - Derby Day at Cape Recife High School on 21 and 22 August 2026.
