Vision4 Women

Vision4 Women Vision4 Women is a woman and girl empowerment programme. We are destined for greatness!

Vision4 Women - Destined for Greatness

The main objectives of Vision4 Women are to inspire and empower women and girls to reach their full potential, lead meaningful lives, become leaders and change makers regardless of their background circumstances. We do this through a mentorship programme that matches each mentee with a female mentor who can provide guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the school year. The Vision4 Women mentorship programme centres around three principles, namely, "Head Smart, Heart Smart, and Hand Smart", taking a holistic mentorship approach that guides girls’ intellectual, emotional, and practical development through a range of empowering and educational activities.

Vision4 Women would like to show you our new website, created in partnership with the Nelson Mandela University’s Centre for Community Technology. A massive thank you to the super team who helped us to put together our new “online home”, shout-out to Prof Darelle van Greunen, Remi and all the others who worked on this project 🙏🏾🙏🏼🙏🏻🙏🏽

We are women from all walks of life who want to inspire and empower the girl-child of today to achieve academic and personal success.

Our Grade 11 girls were treated by Blue Ribbon bread at this weekend's camp at Culturama. The company gave each girl a cosy scarf, beanie and gloves to take home. Thank you Blue Ribbon, we appreciate your support!

Enkosi Mbu! Mbukwashe Zwide, of Hombakazi Vintage Cabin, donated clothes to Vision4 Women, which held a fundraiser by selling them to the girls on our programme at this weekend’s Phuhla workshop. They loved her stylish collection and snapped it up at bargain prices, raising more than R2,000 for Vision4 Women. Your generosity is making a difference to the mentorship programme, Mbu, thank you so very much 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
