Yesterday I had the privilege of speaking at the Elizabeth Donkin Psychiatric Hospital in honour of Women’s Day.

My talk, Empowerment Through Craft, Courage, and Change, blended my personal story with a message of resilience, reminding each of us that no matter where we find ourselves, our voice and choices matter.

Empowerment doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes, it looks like picking up tools you’ve never touched before, rebuilding something from scratch, whether furniture or your life.

Thank you to the incredible women (and one brave gentleman!) who listened with open hearts.

May we continue to accelerate action, together. 💪
