As part of their Life Skills programme, our Grade 7s have been busy exploring the world of work during Career Week, and today they wrapped things up with presentations from Dr Trishia Coetzee, Peter Simmons and Liesel Greyvenstein.

The team from Greyvensteins brought the courtroom to Grey Junior with an entertaining mock trial, where Thomas Dix-Kruger found himself on trial for allegedly moving Mr Butler’s car to the middle of the school fields!

A great way to round off a week of learning about the many paths that lie ahead. A big thank you to all our guest speakers for giving their time and sharing their experiences with our boys.

We were delighted to hand over the funds raised through our Samara Karoo Reserve raffle to Nicki Bolton from One Land Love It Foundation (OLLI) during assembly this morning.

Thank you to everyone who supported the raffle and helped us raise funds for this incredible cause. Congratulations once again to Troy Erasmus, the lucky winner of the two-night stay at Samara Karoo Reserve.

Applications are now open for our Grade 7 sports scholarships for 2027.

At Grey Junior, we believe in recognising boys who show real potential, both on and off the sports field. This is an opportunity to become part of a school where sport, academics, character and personal growth all matter.

As part of our Life Skills programme, our Grade 1 boys have been learning all about pets and what it means to care for them responsibly.

On Tuesday, Kathryn from Animal Welfare Society visited the boys to share more about caring for our pets and the important work AWS does in our community.

The boys were also encouraged to support AWS by bringing along donations of pet food, blankets, towels and other essentials. A wonderful opportunity to learn, care and give back.

We are incredibly proud of Joel-Luke Bradfield, who has been selected to represent Eastern Province at the ASA Cross-Country Championships in Pretoria on Saturday, 5 September.

Joel-Luke placed 2nd in the Boys 12 years race at the EPA Cross-Country Championships at NMU on the 8th of August.
