📢 PARENT MEETING – UNDERPERFORMING LEARNERS

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please take note that a Parent Meeting for underperforming learners will take place on:

📅 Wednesday, 19 August 2026
⏰ 14:00 – 16:00

This meeting is only for parents/guardians of learners who are currently underperforming.

Parents/Guardians who are required to attend will receive a letter from the school inviting them to the meeting.

❗ If you did not receive a letter, you are not required to attend this meeting.
(Letters will be handed out tomorrow.)

It is very important that all invited parents/guardians attend. If a parent/guardian does not attend the meeting, the learner will be required to remain at home until the parent/guardian comes to the school to meet with the relevant teacher/school management.

We kindly ask all invited parents/guardians to make the necessary arrangements to attend.

🚨 Please note: There is ONLY space available in our Afrikaans Grade 1 class, with ONLY 20 spaces remaining!

🚦 Road Safety Awareness at Strelitzia Primary School 🚦

A heartfelt thank you to the Traffic and Licensing Department and a special thank you to Mr Xolani Solomon and Mrs Nandipha Mengu for taking the time to visit our school and present such an engaging and educational road safety programme.

Our learners thoroughly enjoyed the interactive session, especially the fun and exciting songs that helped them remember important road safety rules. Learning through music and participation made the experience both memorable and meaningful.

We truly appreciate your commitment to educating our young learners and helping them become safer, more responsible road users. Together, we are making a difference—one lesson at a time.
