Dear Students

The office of the Academic Advisor of the Faculty of Health Sciences invites you to a student guard of honor outside Prof Lungile Pepetas House in Summerstrand. I would encourage this as a means of paying your last respects to the Executive Deans family. Also as a means of saying goodbye.

This will be a silent guard of honor for thirty minutes outside the home. Upon arrival please ensure you have a mask on and keep social distancing throughout the thirty minutes.

The drive through Memorial Ceremony will be on tomorrow 9th August 2020. 15h00-16h00
Cnr of Second Avenue and Erasmus Street.

Students Should Arrive at 14h30 for the guard of honor prior to the drive through starting.
Please wear any Nelson Mandela University t-shirt/ golf shirt or tracksuit. Absolutely anything that will be able to make you identifiable as a NMU student.

Please ensure that if you would like to write messages I will bring a basket so you can put it inside. Please bring a piece of paper with your messages, where you can write a short message and the basket will be handed to a family representative.
