Term 3 is here, giving us more opportunities to learn, grow and succeed. For many grades across the Intermediate and Senior phases this term focuses on literature.
Let's use this opportunity to encourage children to focus on READING MORE.

Reading for understanding requires that
one fully comprehends the message expressed, interprets between and beyond the lines of text,
and constructs personal meaning with the text.
Without comprehension, children gain no meaning from what they read.
We need to focus on having less screentime.
