🇩🇪 Story time in Germany 🍻

When I was working at an Irish Pub restaurant Here in Germany, I used to joke with the guests and tell them: “You know… I’m actually a celebrity in South Africa 🇿🇦

At first they would laugh… then they’d look at me and say, “Really? 😁

Next thing you know — they’re asking to take photos with me like I’m some kind of famous person 😂📸

Meanwhile I’m just there trying to serve drinks and do my job.

Hospitality teaches you one thing: sometimes you’re not just the server… you’re the entertainment too 😅

I am incredibly excited to share that this April I will be officially launching my book “Service to Success – Waitron Training Manual for South African Youth” in Gqeberha.

This book was created from my passion for hospitality, entrepreneurship, and empowering young people with practical skills that can open doors in the service industry. Through this journey I have seen how hospitality can build confidence, professionalism, and opportunities for growth.

The book launch will form part of the Zamo Rising Stars International Academy Hospitality Masterclass, where we will also be training young people in service excellence, food safety, customer relations, and hospitality career opportunities.

This is more than just a book launch — it is the beginning of a mission to equip and inspire the next generation with the skills they need to succeed.

I am grateful for everyone who has supported this journey, and I look forward to sharing this special moment with the community.
