All moms (both HIV-positive and HIV-negative) should breastfeed their babies for as long as possible, at least until 2 years of age? If you are HIV-positive remember to always take your HIV or antiviral treatment - it will keep you and your baby healthy.

Did you know?

-Non-breastfed babies are more prone than breastfed new-borns to get respiratory (lung) and ear infections
- Breastmilk is superior to infant formula milk. Nothing can compete with breastfeeding
- Breastfeeding is the most natural and healthy nourishment for babies!
- Non-breastfed babies do not require additional formulae (Stages 3 and 4) and can begin drinking cow's milk at the age of 12 months.
