The IFTRA 9th Biennial World Conference will convene invited education leaders, teaching councils and strategic partners from across Africa and internationally to engage in critical discussions shaping the future of the teaching profession.

Under the main theme:
“Strengthening the Teaching Profession and Teaching Councils”

The conference will explore important sub-themes including governance models of teaching councils, empowering leadership, data collection and sharing, strategic partnerships, teacher policy and regulation, artificial intelligence in education, and teachers’ role in quality foundational learning.

These conversations aim to strengthen collaboration, share global perspectives and advance effective teacher regulation and professional excellence across education systems.
