Small Hands, Big Creativity! 🤩

There is nothing quite like watching our Grade R learners unleash their imaginations! This week, we handed over stencils, paper, and plenty of color, letting the children take complete creative control over their designs.

While they were busy creating their masterpieces, they were also hard at work developing crucial outlining skills. Using stencils requires fantastic hand-eye coordination, a steady grip, and spatial awareness as they guide their pencils and crayons along the edges.

We are so proud of their focus, determination, and beautiful, unique artwork!🌈

𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

What a wonderful morning celebrating our amazing dads and father figures at the Pre-Prep! Our children loved spending quality time with their special guests as they teamed up to create unique Father’s Day shirts.
The little ones enjoyed delicious waffles, while the dads tucked into tasty build-a-burgers. Most importantly, everyone shared special moments together, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.💙

🚲 Bike Day Fun! 🚲

The Pre-Prep and Grade 1 learners enjoyed an exciting Bike Day filled with hands-on learning and plenty of fun! The children rotated through four interactive stations, each offering a unique experience.

🚦 Zone A: Learners put their riding skills to the test on the bike track while learning about road safety with the traffic officers.

⛽ Zone B: The Pit Stop kept everyone busy with a bike wash and petrol station experience.

🚑🔧 Zone C: At the Clinic and Garage, learners met paramedics and mechanics, discovering how they help keep both people and vehicles safe.

🪪 Zone D: The Licensing Department gave learners the opportunity to earn their very own "licences" after completing the various activities.

Fridays in Grade R are extra special with our much loved Show and Tell sessions! 🌟

Our learners love sharing their favourite treasures with their classmates, building confidence as they speak in front of a group. Along the way, they develop important communication skills, learn to express themselves clearly, and practise being respectful listeners.

It's always a highlight of our week, filled with excitement, smiles, and plenty of proud moments! 💛

Today we were lucky enough to enjoy some naartjies from our beautiful tree! 🍊🌳 What a special treat, and so delicious too.

Comfy slippers, cozy pajamas, hot chocolate and a movie with friends… what more could our Pre-Prep learners ask for? ☕🍿💙
