Although the girls were understandably disappointed with the outcome, we are incredibly proud of their fighting spirit, commitment and determination.

A special congratulations to our captain, Asenathi Fundakubi, who was awarded Player of the Tournament for her outstanding and consistent performance throughout the competition.

As part of this week's Grade R theme, "Jobs People Do," our teachers arranged a very special educational visit for our little learners.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Fire and Emergency Services for responding positively to our invitation and providing an exciting and informative demonstration.

Our Grade R learners had the opportunity to meet real firefighters, who demonstrated the important work they do in keeping our communities safe. The firefighters showcased their protective safety equipment, explained basic fire safety, and demonstrated how to use a fire extinguisher in the event of a fire.

The highlight of the day was the arrival of the fire engine! ๐Ÿš’ The learners were thrilled to see the fire brigade truck in action as the firefighters demonstrated how it is used to extinguish fires. The sound of the siren and the live demonstration created great excitement and made the learning experience even more memorable.
