You are a warrior.
Even though you are battle weary and worn out, you are a Warrior.
Even though you are ashamed of your past failures and afraid that you can't do this, you are a Warrior.
Even though you are so afraid of failing again that you don't know how to start, you are Warrior.
Even though you are afraid it's too late, or you are too old, you are a Warrior
Even though you can't see the path to success yet, you are Warrior.

A warrior cannot fight alone, so if, despite being battle weary and worn out, something inside you still BELIEVES, we want you in OUR tribe!

We want to hang out with you, come and join our brand new group "Warrior Tribe - Ignite Your Inner Warrior to Succeed at Life & Business." https://web.facebook.com/groups/1876736389070526/

Modern parents are often too quick to rescue their children from the discomfort of "failure", big mistake! carolynescorner.wordpress.com/2016/06/06/teaching-children-to-fail

In our mistaken definition of a ‘good parent’, we have embraced this notion that good parenting is equal to protecting our children from all harm, including – heaven forbid -the slim possibility th…

To often we shut down a child's tantrum instead of seeing it for the gift it is...an opportunity to coach our child through problem solving . https://aleteia.org/2017/05/01/how-to-diffuse-a-childs-tantrum-with-one-question/

I have not read every child psychology book, nor did I take a course on how to avoid/stop/end a child’s tantrum. But because of a personal experience with my 5-year-old daughter, I really wan…

I love this! Recently I met a little boy with his grandfather in a public place. The little guy and I got chatting while Grandpa was busy. When it was time to go Grandpa told him to give me a hug and then said "Give her the hug you do to Granny". I was uncomfortable with the hug instruction to start with (we had just met and were unlikely to meet again), and horrified by receiving granny's special hug. Fortunately the little chap just smiled waved goodbye and left with Grandpa. We can't expect our children to say no when they need to if we have encouraged them to allow strangers to touch them.

There is nobody more effective at pushing our buttons than our children, so it doesn't hurt if we loose it once in a while with them right? Wrong! Yelling at kids packs as much of punch as, well, a punch! https://consumer.healthday.com/encyclopedia/children-s-health-10/child-development-news-124/yelling-at-children-verbal-abuse-648565.html

Yelling at Children (Verbal Abuse) By Benj Vardigan We've all heard the adage, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me." Yet name-calling does hurt -- especially when the person doing it is a parent, a teacher, or a coach. Hollering might strike you as a natural and effec...

Children are asked all the time what they will do when they grow up.The truth is almost all of them will do the same things (not necessarily in this order); run a home, pair off in a relationship (or a few), parent a child (biological or otherwise), and have a means to financially support the first three (which may or may not be a 'job'). Yet our children spend 12+ years learning skills that will (debatably) assist them with the last aspect and almost no time being educated in the crucial skills required to succeed at the first three, an imbalance that creates significant and long-lasting effects in our world.

I trained as a lawyer, worked as an accountant, held roles in senior management, ran businesses and lectured at a university. Six years ago, I became an executive and life coach. All the positions …

It’s memorial weekend. We are up at the cabin with family. A time where we are supposed to be resting and relaxing. A time of thankfulness. A time of remembering those who have given their lives for our freedom.   My husband has been working overtime and doing freelance work so we’ve been looking fo...
