As we head towards the last week of classes for our matrics of 2026, it is time to pass on the torch. A massive congratulations to our SRC and prefect body for 2027!!! We are so proud of you all!

A huge congratulations to Leana Potgieter, grade 11, Jasmin Vosloo, grade 8, and Peter Du Plessis, BAI! They have qualified for the archery teams participating at national level this coming holiday.

Leana is in the A team, Jasmin in the B team, and Peter, who helps us coach archery, is in the adults team. Well done and best of luck! May your arrows fly straight!

Thayfur took part in the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists on Saturday and won a Rhodes University Scholarship as well as the following three awards:
• most innovative content
• best overall project
• gold award

Thayfur Rashid, a Calico Grade 12 student, took part in the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists today. He entered in the Engineering/Computer Science category with an engineering design project called the Acoustic Soil Moisture (ASM) Sensor.
