Please note! Eminence Montessori in Polokwane is closed. There is still, however a Montessori school at the same premises with a new owner with their own name; "Polokwane Montessori". The staff who worked for Eminence Montessori continued at the school and strive to provide the same quality of teaching when they were under the direction of the owner of Eminence Montessori. Eminence Montessori might spread their wings elsewhere, and make new footprints💖

Why is a good foundation education important for your child? www.eminencemontessori.co.za

A tale told by Maria Montessori reminding us to cherish the time we have with the children in our lives, including over the holidays..
“Sometimes a child awakens in the morning and goes to wake his parents, who would rather sleep; everyone complains about this kind of thing. But the child who slips from his bed is a pure being who does that which everyone ought to do. When the sun rises everyone should get up, but the parents are still sleeping. The child goes to them almost as if to say, "You must learn to live well; come, the morning wakes us." But the child is no teacher; he looks at his parents only because he loves them. Once awake, he is impelled toward those he loves, through rooms that are still dark, closed to the light. He goes, stumbling perhaps, but unafraid of the shadows and the half-closed doors, approaches his parents and touches them lightly. Most often they say, "Don't wake me up in the morning", and the child responds, "I didn't wake you up; I only kissed you!" And the parents think of ways to remonstrate with him. But how often does it happen in life that someone, just awakened, wants to come to us, despite every difficulty, not to wake us up but simply to see and kiss us?”
