I become happy when the learners attempt the questions and pass them.

This was done on the board by one of the Gr 11 learners , she was explaining the ideas to her peers who made errors in thier trials. She wrote this on board after teacher B marked her workings in the book.

I loved this Question.🩵❤️, it trains children to think.
These are some of the revisions for last week. I did them as I was preparing the Gr 11 and 12 children who had maths mid year exam P.1 on 25 may 2026.(N.B These were children from pepps college polokwane). They wrote mathematics P.1 so early.

I had to make sure I do it again this week with all other Gr 11 and 12 , Some are yet to write maths P.1 tomorrow 29 may 2026(North academy and government schools).

Gr 10 Trigonometry Graphs.
Here i was showing the Gr 10's the basic ideas of plotting Trigonometry graphs using the basic sine and cosine graphs i.e
Y=cosX and y=sin X.

Note :
●The Domain is the interval for the X values for which the y values will exist . N.B:usually in trig graphs the domain is usually given if they want you to plot a particular known trig function.

●Range is the interval for the Y values for which the graph lies.

Some of the discussions for this week with our Gr 9 children.

Focus: Simplifying algebraic expressions incorporating product of binomials, adding and subtracting like terms.

These kind of questions need the child to be concentrate fully to do them accurately.
Also back ground knowledge like laws of exponents is required.

Solving cubic equations.
First explore remainder theorem and factor theorem. So that you get the first factor.

Once you get the first factor, you can then apply long division or thesthetic method to find the other factors of the cubic function.
