Dear Girl-school Girls,

As the flowers bloom and the days grow brighter, I want to take a moment to remind you of your incredible power and potential. Just like the sprouting buds and blossoming trees, you too have the ability to grow and flourish in this beautiful world.

Spring is a season of growth, renewal, and transformation, and it serves as a reminder that you have the strength within you to overcome any challenges you may face. You are capable of achieving greatness and making a difference in your own unique way.

Remember, your dreams are valid and worth pursuing. Embrace your passions, pursue your interests, and never let anyone make you feel that you are not capable or worthy. Believe in yourself, and know that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to.

In this season of blooming, let go of any self-doubt or negativity that may be holding you back. Surround yourself with positive influences and uplifting voices that inspire you to be the best version of yourself. Seek out opportunities that allow you to grow, learn, and challenge yourself.

Spring reminds us that change is inevitable and necessary for growth. Embrace change, for it often leads us to new adventures and opportunities. Embrace your uniqueness, your quirks, and your individuality. You are beautifully and wonderfully made, and your diversity is what makes you truly special.

Take this season as a reminder to embrace your own strength, embrace your voice, and embrace your potential. Chase your dreams with determination, resilience, and a generous amount of courage. Remember that setbacks are not failures but stepping stones to success.

As the flowers dance in the gentle breeze and the sun shines brightly, know that you, too, have the power to shine your light and impact the world around you. You have the power to make a difference, to stand up for what you believe in, and to create a positive change in the lives of others.

So, dear young girls, as we welcome the wonders of spring, let us also celebrate the wonders within ourselves. You are strong, capable, and full of limitless possibilities. Embrace the season and let it inspire you to bloom, grow, and empower others.

Isolation is withdrawing from people and being absorbed in your thoughts and looking inward.
This can cause you to get in a loop in your brain where lies get louder and louder and you start to fixate on what is wrong and actually can’t see hope.

Solitude is when Jesus invites us into His rest. He says “Come into My rest” and rest there requires an entering in. It’s an invitation to intimacy and communion with Him.

Rest was commanded in the beginning by God after creation
He looked at what He created and then He rested and then once He rested He blessed and consecrated it.

You cannot earn rest.

Daughter, when you are feeling the weariness of a restless life - don’t seek isolation - seek solitude with the Father.

Your words are more powerful than you think.

- Let your words be like a bubbly stream (sparkling, fresh, pure and life-giving). (Prov 18:4)

- Words can be a blessing or hurtful - you choose (Prov 18:6-7)

- Don’t gossip (Prob. 18:8)

- Learn to listen first before just speaking (Prov 18:13)

- Pick your battles - discern with wisdom (Prov.19:11)

Our feelings can play an enormous role in our motivation and behaviour.

It’s good to ask yourself from time to time, ‘Am I allowing the opinions of others to influence my value?’ (Whether good or bad?)

It’s good to acknowledge your feelings but not to be led by your feelings.

Identify how the situation made you feel, own it - for example: “This situation made me feel so angry because I felt like I wasn’t being considered.”

But in it, remember that believing what God says about you - determines your value not how that person may have made you feel.

Allow His Spirit to lead you in His Truth in those situations.

You can’t control how others react, but you can control how you respond.

Let the peace of God rule your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Each one of us HAVE beauty.
We just need to own it.

First step is to ask yourself:
What do I have that is beautiful?
(Think about two things)

Here are a few examples:
I have a beautiful face
I have beautiful eyes
I have beautiful hair
I have a beautiful body
I have beautiful feet
I have a beautiful sparkling Personality
I have a beautiful smile

See it - own it…

Why love yourself?

When you wake up you’re going to be there, when you go to sleep, you’re going to be there, when you go on a holiday, you’re going to be there, when you go to school, you’re going to be there...you get the idea.☺

You are always going to be with you.

Spend time remembering how important and special you are, and celebrate your own specific talents, abilities, and efforts.

If you are self-confident, you are better able to cope with life’s challenges

Try this.....Every time you brush your teeth, you look in the mirror and either mentally or aloud say “I love me” or “I like myself” or at least “I’m willing to like myself" - do this everyday.

Look at yourself in the mirror today and say:

I am fearfully and wonderfully made!

I am created in the image of God!

I am beautiful!

Be confident of this very thing…
