Meet Ms Lebogang Grace Rakgalakane, a proud Bokamoso Farmers Academy (BFA) Mixed Farming Systems graduate and alumna.

After completing her qualification in 2024, Lebogang took what she learned at BFA and put it into practice. She started and ran her own poultry business, successfully managing 200 birds per production cycle.

Her dedication, practical skills and passion for agriculture did not go unnoticed. Her journey later led her to an opportunity at Matlaleng Agri-Farm, where she now serves as a Farm Manager overseeing a diverse farming operation involving pigs, cattle and chickens.

From building her own poultry business to managing a multi-enterprise farm, Lebogang’s story is a testament to what can happen when education meets determination, practical experience and an entrepreneurial spirit.
