Location: Zororo Lodge, Polokwane
Overview:
Zororo Lodge is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to lead the operations of our lodge and restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management and be passionate about delivering exceptional service while managing staff, finances, and daily operations. This role is integral to the growth of our restaurant and events services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to a team of employees.
Oversee daily operations of the lodge, restaurant, and events facilities.
Manage business finances, including budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
Recruit, onboard, and train new team members on best business practices.
Ensure high standards of service and customer care.
Drive employee development and performance improvement.
Monitor and maintain quality control and service excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the hospitality sector, including leadership roles.
Matric Certificate
Administration, Marketing, Finance, HR, or Hospitality Diploma (preferred)
Strong administrative and financial management skills.
Experience in managing events and restaurant operations.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
Competency in budgeting, payroll, revenue forecasting, and general financial oversight.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
