Admission/Registrations will take place from 09h00 to 16h00. NB: Make sure that all requirements of admission /registrations are available when bringing your child and all learners are expected to have school uniform in full. Thank you.

Setotolwane Elsen Secondary school cater for people with visual and hearing impairment (Blind and deaf) It is situated in Mankweng Turfloop (next to Peter Mokaba graveyards) Hostel fee is R3000 per annum and it is payable in two installments. The beginning of the year R1500 and in April R1500.

GOVERNMENT AND STAKEHOLDERS TAKE SECOND LEG OF NATIONWIDE ANTI-BULLYING INTERVENTION TO LIMPOPO
Deputy Ministers Dr Reginah Mhaule of Basic Education, John Jeffery of Justice and Constitutional Development as well as Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Pinky Kekana will lead the School Safety Roadshow at Jacob Marwale Primary School on 15 October 2021.
The roadshow will see government departments and entities join forces to raise awareness about bullying, especially in schools.
Having launched the intervention with a Roadshow on 28 May 2021, the Departments of Social Development, Communication and Digital Technologies, Home Affairs, Justice and Constitutional Development as well as the South African Police and partners will continue this roadshow with the second roadshow in Ga-Nchabeleng Limpopo.
The compact continues to demonstrate the complexity of the problem and the need for cooperation. Once again this shows that indeed ‘’Education is a societal issue’’; hence Government together with partners commenced the anti- bullying roadshow which is themed “School Safety – Violence, and Bullying Prevention Initiatives,”
At its core the intervention seeks to mobilise learners, parents, teachers alongside key stakeholders in promoting a safe learning environment for quality education, and galvanise constructive community involvement in schools to curb incidents of bullying and violence.
Members of the Media are invited to attend the Roadshow as follows:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS on application and appointment of Education Assistants and General School Assistants for the Department of Education
1. How long is the contract for?
Five months, beginning of November 2021 to 31 March 2022.
2. How do young people apply for the positions? Can I walk into a school and apply?
There is only one way to apply for this opportunity and walk-ins to the schools are discouraged Go to www.sayouth.mobi (zero rated) and register. Once you have registered you will be able to apply to a school near to where you live on the mobi site. You cannot apply by visiting the school in person.
3. I was a part of the previous DBE opportunity in 2020. I performed well at my school - do I need to reapply or will I automatically get my job back?
Everyone needs to re-apply for these positions regardless of whether or not they have worked in this role before. You can apply to the school where you previously worked. If you performed well this will obviously count in your favour in the interview.
4. When will they hear back if they have been successful?
If you have not heard back from a school by 24 October 2021 then unfortunately your application has not been successful.
5. What documents do I have to supply and when / how do I supply it?
If you are shortlisted and are invited to an interview at a school you will be required to bring:
•Certified copy of your ID
•Matric certificate (where applicable) or other NQF 4 or higher qualification proof •Your CV
•A testimonial e.g. from a former school, local chief, church leader, or previous employer
6. How are people being shortlisted?
Applicants are shortlisted based on their eligibility:
• Matching the criteria (age, qualification)
• Proximity to school
• Community involvement
7.What happens if I don’t live near the schools that I applied for and get shortlisted?
If you misrepresented your address and proximity to the school you will be terminated with immediate effect. So please make sure that the address details listed on SA Youth are correct!
8.When does this programme begin?
Interviews for the various positions will start from 11 October 2021 onwards. Schools will contact those they want to interview. Once selected work will start at the beginning of November.
