To each their path... (-a passage from my soon-to-be-published book, ‘Humanifestations’)

06/12/2022

The truest warriors on the planet are those who have had to overcome tremendous hardships with very little or no support. The real super-heroes are those that have been so disillusioned by the world, so uprooted in their daily life, yet they find a way to get up in the morning and believe in life again. We want to co-create a society that elevates and supports these individuals. We want to co-create a world that pulls humanity close, that refuses to let anyone fall off the edge, that breathes individuals back to life when they lose all hope, that moves the way loves makes us move. In this world of divine possibility, we will never forget that we are all part of this human-nest. If even one is left out, the nest is empty.

Unity consciousness is not simply a beautiful vision of possibility- it is our best and truest hope. Until each and every one of us rises into fullness, the collective cannot actualize its wholeness. Until we all rush to the side of someone in need, we are all fractured beings. Until we all recognize that each of us is a magnificent reflection of the Godself, we are collectively blind. Until everyone has what they need to flourish, we are all birds with one wing. The measure of a healthy society is not how effectively it elevates its achievers, but how compassionately it supports those who have fallen. Our community is humanity. We rise in unison, or not at all.

AVOID THESE MISTAKES AND SPEED UP YOUR BREAKUP RECOVERY.
PART 1.

A breakup or divorce can bring out our deepest fears and insecurities to the surface.

It’s common to witness newly singles make one or all three of these mistakes (me!!!):

Mistake # 1. NUMBING YOUR FEELINGS

It’s tough to feel tormented, so it’s rather common to rely on some substance to dull the pain.

Whether you use an anti-depressant, sleeping pills, food or alcohol, the end result is that you numb out the one thing that can set you on the road to healing yourself.

Be willing to feel sad, to cry, and to scream if you want.

Be willing to embrace your pain.

And listen… listen to the wisdom of your suffering so that you can learn and evolve.

Your power to heal lies in your vulnerability and your willingness to be with the pain.

Mistake # 2. SEEKING COMPANY TO AVOID LONELINESS

One of the greatest source of suffering we experience as human being is loneliness. We are social creature and even the most fervent loner will seek the company of another human being.

Your relationship to yourself is the foundation for healthy and meaningful relationships with others, so it makes sense that you learn to enjoy your own company first. How other people are supposed to enjoy being around you, if yourself you don’t?

Mistake # 3. BEING SELF-RIGHTEOUS

Your fear and struggles are so big that you get stuck in endless streams of thoughts like "How could he do what he did?", "How could I be so stupid?" and so on…

Even if your ex behaved in unacceptable ways, and caused the breakdown of your relationship, the need to be right will only prolong your misery and keep you a prisoner of your past.

Divorce is one life event where you may come face to face with your inner b**** sometimes disguised as a judge or as a victim.

As long as you hold on to your righteousness, you close yourself off to feelings like joy and happiness.

I made all three and more of these mistakes! And you?

Day 13.

How are you feeling today?

If you are tired and need to rest, don't feel guilty, just rest.

Listen to your body.

Feeling overwhelmed by difficult emotions?

If your mind is in a fog like state, and you are struggling to focus, be kind to yourself. Rest. It's OK.

Nobody had the right to make you feel guilty.

There's a lot going down, and we all respond to crisis in a different way.

Do not compare yourself to any other beings.

Giving yourself permission to honor how you are feeling in your body, in your mind and in the depth of your soul is an essential part of healing and consciously Evolving.

Feel the feelings.

Recognise them.

Write them down in your journal.

Breathe in.

Breathe out a blessing to anyone who is currently experiencing the same feeling.

Resting is not a waste of time.
In fact it could be the most productive thing you could do right now.

Pay attention, clarity will come, insights will show up. Maybe not today or tomorow, but it will.

Rest, take care of your heart, your body, your mind, and your soul.

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others.

I love you ❤️

When the president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa made the announcement last week of the imminent lock down, Noah (11 years old) who was sitting by my side, leaned closer to me, rested his head on my shoulder, grabbed my arm, squeezed me real tight and muttered "I am scared mom".

My heart sunk in the abyss of terror.

My job is to protect my children, and now, I am faced again with the harsh reality of not knowing if I will be able to.

I saw the fear in his eyes, I could feel his body slightly trembling.

I did my best to reassure him and he calmed down.

We never experienced this before. We don't know yet what it really means and what the outcome will be.

It is frightening for many adults, so it's easy to understand how it is affecting our children, and depending on their age, they may not be able to verbally express they concerns in a clear way.

Stories can be a great tool to help them make sense of what they are internally experiencing.

Milton's Secret: An Adventure of Discovery through Then, When, and the Power of Now is one of these books.

In this book Eckhart Tolle (author of The power of Now and A New Earth) brings the core of his teachings to children.

While the story is about bullying, it's core teaching is relevant for any difficult situation our children are facing and will face during their childhood.

With the help of this book, my wish is that Noah understand that living in the Now is the quickest path to ending fear and suffering ❤️

How are you children doing?

Stay safe, stay calm ❤️

LOOKING FOR THE GIFT

I know for many of us, it can be difficult and even very stressful to be socially isolated.

Even though it is not by choice, like me, we can turn this “forced” isolation into an opportunity to slow down, and attend to the part of ourselves that we have neglected over the years.

Let us use this as an opportunity to reflect with honesty and kindness on the current state of our life, how we treat our body, our heart, our mind and our soul.

Now may be a good time to make amends to yourself.

Let us look at how we relate and treat the people in our lives. Not just our loved ones, but also our neighbors, our co-workers, strangers, and -especially- the ‘difficult’ or challenging ones.

In a world where we have given up the ability to slow down, where being constantly busy is a sign of adaptability, where individuality has become a show and tell, where it has never been so easy to hurt, lash out, insult and publicly bully someone just because we don’t agree, or because we can –Yes! I am thinking about all the keyboard warriors out there, ready to pounce at any given time!-

Remember that we are all part of the same family.

We are given the opportunity to soften our heart and extend our love to all our fellow Earth dwellers.
Now may be a good time to make the changes you need to in order to improve your relationships with yourself, with others, with our precious home.

To your greatness with love ❤️

BOOST YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM…
…WITH CBD

Right now, we could all use a boost!

Sometimes we need a little bit of help, and taking supplements to support us in remaining healthy or getting a boost can prove to be very efficient.

If you are like me, you prefer all things natural and non-addictive then, CBD is a great option.

I have been using it myself and I can tell you for sure that it works!!!!

Stress weakens your immune system.

When we are stressed, the immune system ability to fight off antigens is reduced, that is why we are more susceptible to infections.

The daily stress with all our responsibilities and obligations to work and family can leave us feeling continuously overwhelmed and stressed.

We all go thorough stressful and even traumatic events in our lives, and we don’t have to go through it without support.

Going through a high conflict divorce, I experienced my darkest time thus far. Insomnia, panic attacks, loss of concentration and depression had taken over my life and left me functioning at my bare minimum.

With the use of CBD, I began to feel human again within a week, and I regain emotional strength rather rapidly (3 to 4 weeks).

Regular user of CBD have reported a much calmer, more balanced and focused state of mind with less tension held in the body and noise buzzing in the brain.

The feeling of anxiety and depression that often accompany those suffering from PTSD can be relieved through continuous intake, and research has also shown a reduction in the intensity and frequency of nightmares experienced by these patients.

You can read the full research paper here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc

Anyone struggling with sleep issues or insomnia, in general is a great candidate for CBD.

The compound provide the body and mind with a feeling of relaxation and release throughout the day , helping to ease those who need it into a state that is more receptive to a good night’s rest.

If you are feeling stressed out, anxious or you simply want to make sure that you and your family stay healthy and strong, then, CBD could be a great natural alternative to taking good care of yourself.

So my love, take care of yourself, eat right, sleep well, go for a walk in nature, laugh, spend time with the people you love the most, rest when you need to, do things that makes you feel good, and take a few drops of CBD, it will make a world of difference.

To your greatness with love❤️
