Education That Includes Everyone.

Technical subjects aren’t just for a select few, they open doors for every learner, no matter their starting point.

By bringing a dedicated Technical Faculty to Plettenberg Bay, we’re creating pathways for students who want to design, build, innovate, and work with their hands.

Creating opportunity, one student at a time.

Developing Skills at Home

Plettenberg Bay is filled with talented young people. The challenge has always been access to specialised education and training close to home.

The Hands On Foundation is addressing this by establishing the Plett Technical Faculty & Skills Centre - giving learners the opportunity to develop skills without leaving their community.

Together, we can build futures and empower the next generation.

Hands - Putting Learning into Action

True technical education goes beyond books and classrooms. It’s about giving students the chance to apply what they learn in real settings.

By working with local businesses, the Hands On Foundation connects young people to mentoring, internships, and hands-on projects that build practical skills and open pathways to future careers.

From the classroom to the workshop to the workplace, we’re helping students turn potential into progress.

Head - Turning Vision Into Plan
A strong vision needs a solid plan.

Together the Hands On Foundation and our partners in education, are working through every detail, from selecting the right site to shaping a relevant, hands-on curriculum and building a school the community will be proud of.

Because making technical education meaningful starts with thoughtful planning.

This is how we begin to turn dreams into reality.

Heart - Where It All Begins

Every project starts with a reason. Before the plans and timelines, there’s a spark, a dream, a hope for something better.

The heart of the Plett Technical Faculty and Skills Centre lies with the young people we’ve met, the communities we stand with, and the belief that technical and skills education will benefit everyone.

This is where the journey begins: with the heart, a dream and a vision for real opportunity.
