Minimum Requirements
• A minimum of 3–5 years' proven experience as a painter.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting, and finishing techniques.
• Valid South African identification document and contactable references.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must follow site health and safety rules at all times
• A valid driver's license will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and priming.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

To oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient stock handling, accurate reporting, and maintaining high standards of organization, safety, and cleanliness across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and support front-of-house collections, ensuring walk-in clients receive efficient and timely assistance.
* Act as a key team member during loading operations, ensuring trucks are loaded accurately and dispatched on time, particularly for local deliveries.
* Oversee all dry and fresh goods within the warehouse, ensuring:
* Incoming stock is packed away in the correct designated areas
* Proper stock rotation is maintained according to expiry dates
* All storage areas are kept clean and well-organised
* Conduct daily end-of-day inspections to ensure:
* Chiller doors are securely closed
* Work areas are clean, neat, and compliant with standards
* Prepare and submit regular reports:
* Weekly meat report (Wednesdays)
* Weekly chiller stock report (Fridays)
* Monthly date report on all picking items (fresh and dry)
* Open and close the warehouse as required, ensuring all operational checks on the building and vehicles are completed before leaving.
* Maintain responsibility for security procedures, including arming and disarming the alarm system.
* Provide supervisory support in handling staff-related matters, including assisting outside of normal working hours when required (with appropriate compensation).
