Hi guys, happy Monday!

I thought we can kick off this week with a short story... ๐Ÿ˜€

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner. As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away. Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel but missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree. As he went further, he saw a large wild turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining.

A voice spoke to him and said, "Pray first, aim high, and stay focused. However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake. Still, the voice said again to him, "I said, 'Pray, aim high, and stay focused." So, the man decided to listen to God's voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot. The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun, hit the snake in the head, and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond. When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer, and a turkey for his family to eat. The snake was dead simply because the man listened to God.

Moral of the story:
Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God. Never let others discourage you concerning your past. The past is exactly that, the past. Do not look to man for your blessings, but look to the doors that only He has prepared in advance for you in your favor. Wait, be still, and patient: keep God first, and everything else will follow.

Have a lovely week my friends! ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘

Hi guys, happy summer holiday to those that's in the US and if not, I hope you're all doing well. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘‹

Today we're going to look at something we all experience daily, so get yourself a cup of coffee / tea (or a beer if you prefer!) and let's chat a bit. โ˜•๏ธ

Let's face it - in every relationship we have, and also some interactions we have with people daily, there will be friction of some sort. The reason for it is not the biggest issue but rather how we choose to react to it.

Picture this: you wake up in a good mood, focused and motivated that today is the day you're going to really move forward in that specific area of your life. Then, just 10 minutes later, life happens....a rejection of some sort, a mocking comment on your innocent post or a rude answer from a family member. You all know the feeling BUT how do you react?

Are you going to brood over it the whole day, letting it drain all your joy and energy or are you going to deal with it emotionally and move on? I know, it's one of the hardest things to do to stay focused on your goal or daily project after that happened BUT that's when it gets real. That's when character building happens, when you get mentally stronger.๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”ฅ

My motto that I live by and that has helped me through some very tough situations is - Let go, move on! Just let go, my friend...you've got more important things to focus on - let's go, let's make our lives worth while! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ’ฏ

I recommend the attached video - it explains a very useful exercise for exactly such situations.

Enjoy the rest of your week ๐Ÿ˜„

MEMO

To: Everyone
From: Me
Date: May 21, 2026
Re: Time remaining on this earth
_________________________________________________

This memo is to advise you that your time on this earth is running out. Key points to consider:

1. Your final destiny - heaven or hell. The only way to heaven is by accepting the gift of eternal life that Jesus has died for to be able to give to you. Other than that, it's the lake of fire for eternity and there's more than enough testimonials about it online to confirm that it's not a happy place at all.

2. The time you have left here on earth and what you're going to do with it. Option one - waste it. Option two - do something useful with it.

3. For those that opted for option two: take control of your life. One suggestion is to create a bucket list. Here is how:

It's all about capturing your dreams, goals, and experiences you want to have in your lifetime. Hereโ€™s a simple, thoughtful way to prepare one:

a) Think about your passions, values, and what excites you.
Consider different areas of life: travel, personal growth, relationships, career, hobbies, health, and giving back.

b) Write down (yes, WRITE because it does make a difference in your brain) everything that comes to mindโ€”big or small, realistic or wild. Donโ€™t filter yourself at this stage; let your imagination run.

c) Group your ideas into sections like:
Adventure & Travel (e.g., see the Northern Lights, road trip across the country)
Skills & Learning (e.g., learn a new language, take a cooking class)
Personal Milestones (e.g., run a marathon, publish a book)
Acts of Kindness (e.g., volunteer abroad, mentor someone)

d) Highlight the ones that feel most urgent or meaningful.
Add a rough timelineโ€”short-term, mid-term, or lifetime goals.

e) Create a digital board, scrapbook, or journal page.
Add photos, quotes, or drawings to keep you motivated.

f) Start with one small, achievable goal to build momentum.
Revisit your list every few monthsโ€”add new dreams, check off completed ones, and celebrate progress.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Keep your bucket list flexible. Life changes, and so will your dreamsโ€”let it evolve with you.

Hi guys!

Happy apple pie, hummus and croutons day! Yip, all in one day, right ๐Ÿ˜€

You guessed it - today's topic is food. We all enjoy delicious food, whatever it is and of course we can't exist without food. But, on the other hand, we do not exist just to eat. There's so much more to life.

Nowadays there are thousands of diets and suggestions for eating healthy and yes, it is helpful indeed. But I am a firm believer in traditional ways / food like, for instance, if you look at the Amish. A sensible guideline to keep in mind is - when it doesn't come from the earth directly, don't buy or eat it. Now that will rule out a lot of health problems! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜„ Don't shoot the messenger yet - I don't say that our food must be tasteless and bland. ๐Ÿคข That's why God gave us creativity to use in the kitchen as well. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ

Question for today:

How does your spiritual diet look like? Does your food come directly from God's word - clean and pure OR is it so spiced up and full of artificial ingredients from this world and wrong teachings that the true value and nourishment have been lost? When we buy food, we first buy with our eyes. ๐Ÿ‘€ Where do you get your spiritual food - where it looks like fun and excitement but no nourishment or where you're fed with the meat of the Word? Do you rather prefer to eat snacks like sweets and chips or a healthy plate of food? Do you rather keep yourself entertained with games, watching movies or something else rather than take a few minutes and spend time with the Creator of the universe?

I have asked these questions to myself as well. In these last days, we cannot afford to mess around anymore and waste our time with things that entertain us and keep us away from the Word, making us weak. Ask yourself, if you will encounter a spiritual battle today or tomorrow like an illness or something else, are you ready? Are you strong enough in your faith to speak the right words in that situation, to act according to your faith and not your feelings? Are you strong enough to see it through until you have the physical manifestation of victory? If not, well, you better get ready by building yourself up with the Word and right teachings for there is a thief going around, looking and seeking whom he can devour - who is weak and vulnerable.

Feed your body, mind and spirit guys - stay strong! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

HAPPY DONKEY DAY!!๐Ÿ˜€

Just for the fun of it, I've compared two viewpoints about donkeys - the world's and the Bible's. I wonder who's going to read until the end.... ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™‚ If you've read until the end, leave "Done" in the comments. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

World Donkey Day is celebrated annually on May 8 to honor donkeys and raise awareness about their welfare.
World Donkey Day is an international observance dedicated to recognizing the hardworking and often underappreciated donkeys that have played vital roles in human history, from agriculture and transportation to trade and rural livelihoods. Donkeys are known for their endurance, persistence, intelligence, and ability to thrive in harsh climates, making them indispensable companions and laborers for centuries. Their stubbornness is often a reflection of their survival instincts, which has helped them endure challenging terrains and conditions.

History and Purpose

The day was created by Ark Raziq, a scientist focused on desert animals, who noticed that donkeysโ€™ contributions were largely overlooked. He initially started raising awareness through a Facebook group, and in 2018, World Donkey Day was officially established. The purpose of the day is to educate the public about donkeys, celebrate their contributions, and promote their welfare, including advocating for humane treatment, veterinary care, and protection from neglect or abandonment.

How to Celebrate

There are several ways to participate in World Donkey Day:

Learn and Share: Research donkeysโ€™ roles in history and modern society and share facts or stories on social media to raise awareness.

Visit a Donkey Sanctuary: If available locally, visiting a sanctuary or rescue center helps support their care and provides educational opportunities.

Support Donkey Welfare Organizations: Donate or volunteer with charities that provide medical care, rescue, and advocacy for donkeys worldwide.

Advocate for Donkey Rights: Promote better treatment and legal protections, especially in regions where donkeys are vulnerable.

Experience Donkey Activities: In some locations, you can take donkey rides or tours to better understand these animalsโ€™ capabilities and temperament.

Fun Facts

Donkeys have two ancestors: the Somali wild ass and the Nubian wild ass.
They can run up to 31 miles per hour and endure long distances while carrying heavy loads.
Donkeys have a lifespan of 50โ€“54 years, longer than most working animals.
They communicate using snorts, squeals, grunts, and growls, and their large ears provide exceptional hearing.

World Donkey Day is a celebration of these remarkable animals, highlighting their resilience, intelligence, and enduring contributions to human society, while encouraging global efforts to improve their welfare and recognition.

In the Bible, the donkey symbolizes humility, service, peace, and obedience, often representing Godโ€™s work through the humble and faithful rather than through power or pride.

Humility and Service
The donkey is frequently associated with humility and service. Unlike horses, which symbolize power and war, donkeys were common beasts of burden in ancient times, used for carrying loads and transporting people. This practical role is mirrored in biblical narratives, where donkeys often symbolize faithful service and submission. For example, Balaamโ€™s donkey in Numbers 22:22-30 demonstrates discernment and obedience, seeing the angel of the Lord and preventing Balaam from sinning, highlighting the donkeyโ€™s role as a humble yet perceptive servant of Godโ€™s will.

Peace and Kingship
Donkeys also symbolize peace and gentle leadership. In contrast to a conquering king riding a horse, a king or prophet riding a donkey signifies a peaceful mission. This is most famously illustrated in Jesusโ€™ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where He rode a young donkey, fulfilling Zechariah 9:9 and Matthew 21:5. This act emphasized that His kingdom is characterized by humility, peace, and servitude, rather than force or domination.

Divine Purpose and Obedience
Throughout the Bible, donkeys appear in moments of faith, obedience, and divine purpose. Abrahamโ€™s donkey carried supplies to Mount Moriah (Genesis 22), and Solomon rode a mule (a donkey crossbreed) during his anointing (1 Kings 1:33), symbolizing peaceful authority and Godโ€™s guidance. The Hebrew word for donkey, chamor, derives from a root meaning โ€œto bearโ€ or โ€œto carry,โ€ reinforcing the donkeyโ€™s role as a symbol of spiritual insight, obedience, and bearing burdens.

Practical and Spiritual Lessons
Donkeys were integral to daily life in ancient Israel, used for travel, trade, and agriculture. Spiritually, they teach lessons about service, responsibility, and supporting others, as reflected in Galatians 6:2, which encourages believers to โ€œcarry each otherโ€™s burdens.โ€ The donkeyโ€™s quiet, humble presence in scripture reminds readers that God often works through the small, simple, and faithful, rather than through grandeur or might.

In summary, the donkey in the Bible is a powerful symbol of humility, faithful service, peace, and divine purpose, illustrating that true strength and leadership often manifest through obedience, gentleness, and the willingness to serve others.

Hi guys! Hope you're having fun so far this week?๐Ÿ˜€ If not, well, the week's not done yet. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Today's topic is about moving forward. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ

What does moving forward mean to you personally? A new house, buying a car, reaching the next career goal? Or, on a more personal level, recovery after an operation or divorce, restoration of a relationship? Even the next move you'll make after hearing devastating news or super exciting news. In different countries and in each person's life it can be so many different scenarios - the possibilities are endless.

The bottom line is - ARE you moving forward or are you stagnating, postponing or procrastinating? If you are moving forward in a positive manner, well done!! I'm cheering you on! ๐Ÿฅณ

But it's not always that easy, right? We all go through difficult situations and sometimes we need to pull ourselves up by the ears to carry on. My heart goes out to everyone that's struggling in this area and my prayer is that this post will, in some way or other, help to mobilize you today, even anchor you in some way and help you to focus on the next step. ๐Ÿ™

If you're moving forward in a negative way, if you are stagnating, postponing or procrastinating when you know you're supposed to take the next step, ask yourself WHY? Is it fear of people, fear of the unknown, fear of making the biggest mistake of your life, fear of rejection, fear of failure or something else?

Here are some things to consider:

Jesus has accepted us just as we are and has made us more than conquerors because He strengthens us. My friend, He is doing all the work that you cannot possibly do. So, stop beating yourself up, trying to impress people - you're accepted and highly cherished by the Creator of the universe, the opinion of man does not even compare. You're unique and special and can achieve so much more than you think you can. When you align yourself with God's Word (Prov 3: 5-6) and surround yourself with good and sound council (Prov 12: 15) you will have good success and become unstoppable!
๐Ÿ’ช

Another fact - this life of yours is 100 % your responsibility!!! Yes, God helps us on so many levels, but He has also given us freedom of choice. The decisions we make daily are either leading us toward death or toward life. It's that simple. A little bit of tough love - nobody can live your life for you, take responsibility for your own life and decide how it will look like for the rest of your life. What do you want? Then aim for it and keep your focus on the end goal.

Just take the first step....and then the second...and then keep going. Before long, you will have momentum and will be on your way, moving forward to a better life!๐Ÿ†๐Ÿฅ‡

God bless you all and make your paths straight, gives you focus and order in your minds and lives ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘
